Knowledge Center
- Provides rapid access to the association's accumulated expertise in health care, health law, practice management, medical economics, and public health.
- Provides clinical reference services and health and business information to members through online full-text database searching; core collections of text- books, journals, and history of medicine.
- Researches requests for information about genealogy and historical persons and subjects pertaining to the history of medicine. Produces and displays history of medicine exhibits.
- Collects and maintains association's archives.

Membership Development
- Develops and implements all TMA membership recruitment and retention activities, and programs for the association, including marketing and promotional campaigns.
- Provides direct support to TMA members and non-members to encourage and educate about the benefits of membership.
- Oversees TMA’s Committee on Membership, Medical Student Section (MSS), Resident and Fellow Section (RFS), Young Physician Section (YPS), International Medical Graduates (IMG), and TMA Leadership College (TMALC).
- Extracts and analyzes data to support development and implementation of TMA recruitment programs, including efforts based upon analysis of member and non-member data, activities targeted to specific audiences, direct mail, and programs in conjunction with county medical societies and the AMA.

Practice Management Services
- Provides practice management services and education.
- Provides resources for all operational aspects of medical practice including:

- Coding documentation reviews

- Interim practice management.
- Serves as an informational source for day-to-day operational issues of a medical practice.

Conference and Events Management
- Plans and implements the annual meeting of the association (TexMed) and other annual conferences.
- Assists with coordination of other association events throughout the year.

Physician Education Services
- Administers the association's CME accreditation program.

Physician Health and Wellness (PHW)
- Encourages physicians to promote and maintain their health and wellness, which fosters healthy lifestyles in patients.
- Offers Cat. 1 CME/ethics education to physicians regarding physician health and wellness, as well as services for health-related conditions that may affect a physician’s ability to practice medicine with reasonable skill and safety.

Business Development
TMA is continually working to offer new programs and services that assist physicians with the business side of medical practice. These include online tools, vendor-supported educational events, and preferred pricing from practice management and lifestyle service vendors, all of which enhance the continuum of services available to TMA physician-members.
